Whether in liquid, powder or cream form, applying highlighter or illuminator to your beauty regime is one of the best ways to add a little glow to your complexion while showing off your best features. The great thing about highlights is that it can be used alone or blended together, applied over other make-up or mixed with make-up of any texture to highlight areas of the face

The right technique can make eyes look brighter and wider, lips appear fuller, and the contours of your face more defined. To achieve this, highlight the top of your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose, your eyelids, and the inner corners of your eyes.

Another important tip is using the right tools. Use my finger to apply followed by a small fluffy eye shadow brush to blend and buff.

Natural light possible is key to ensure that you don't overdo it on the glow. Turn your head from side to side to catch the light and see if anything looks streaky. Then blend it out.

Champagne colored highlights will flatter most skin tones, while a highlighter with bit more silver adds that pop for evening looks. For darker skin tones, highlights with more gold or peach will look much more natural.
