Dry shampoo is great for oily hair, especially when you're rushed for time but need a quick hair cleanse. But if you do have time, then why not whip up a batch of your own to save some money? Below are six easy DIY dry shampoo recipes you can create using ingredients from your pantry and cabinets:
DIY HAIR Cornstarch Dry Shampoo
Sprinkle 1/2 cup cornstarch on your scalp, massage it in using fingers, and let it absorb the oil for a few minutes. Then use a brush to remove it. DIY HAIR Oatmeal & Baking Soda Dry Shampoo
1 cup ground oatmeal
1 cup baking soda
Mix the ground oatmeal and baking soda together and take about one to two tablespoon of the mixture and massage it into your hair. Let the powder absorb the oil and then brush your hair thoroughly to remove.
DIY HAIR Salt & Cornmeal Dry Shampoo
1 Tablespoon Salt
1/2 cup cornmeal
Mix one tablespoon of salt and 1/2 cup of cornmeal together. Massage the mixture into your hair, wait a few minutes, and brush it out.
DIY HAIR Cheesecloth Dry Shampoo

1/4 cup baby powder

1 teaspoon of lemon juice (or other citrus juice)
2 Teaspoons Honey
6 ounces plain yogurt
1/4 cup ground oatmeal
Blend all the ingredients together and apply it to clean skin in circular motions. Allow for the mixture to to dry and rinse it off with warm water
