These days, tanning in the sun is considered a sin to your skin. But
thanks to self-tanners, you can still achieve a great faux glow without
ending up like an over-baked potato.
Of course, you still have to remove it sooner or later to avoid your skin looking patchy and flaky, Below are a few DIY fake-tanning removal methods that don't require the need of any harsh chemicals:
SUGAR & LEMON Raw sugar is key as the rough granules work great for scrubbing away the tan without harming the skin. Mix one cup of raw sugar with 3/4 cup of lemon juice, rub the mixture over your skin and leave it to sit for a few minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
BICARBONATE OF SODA & LEMON Mix half a cup of bicarbonate of soda with half a cup of lemon juice into a smooth paste. Apply to skin and allow it to sit for a few minutes before wiping off with a cleansing cloth. Repeat this process a few times for best results.
HAIR REMOVAL CREAM If you need a quick fix to remove your glow, then hair removal cream is the way to go as it will instantly strip your skin of your tan. Works great for spillage or mistakes. Just spray a little of the hair removal cream onto the area before wiping it off.
